GREEN is a professionally managed committed NGO active in the rural area community capacity building. GREEN is the Somalis first and  top NGO dedicated for the rural community development, offering a variety of volunteer development programs. Our volunteer projects focus on making a measurable impact on the people, land,livestock and wildlife in Somalia.

Since 2009, GREEN has facilitated transformational community service involving more than 6000individuals and groups in the rural community of Somalia.

Currently we are operating in the regions of Bay & Bakol, Gedo, Hiran, Lower Jubba, and Lower Shabelle. Presently GREEN is serving to 2800 individuals and has directly linked 156 Self Help Groups.

Our mission is to serve 100,000 families in next 5 years with an investment of $7.5 million. We are exceptionally working with familly-headed female groups as primary client and our experience so far reveals that right interventions can create tremendous impact on life and livelihood of marginalized. We have successfully demonstrated livelihood models with ultra poor families.
